No, but I do wish they would sometimes.

When I was a kid, my old man used to play games with us occasionally but nowadays he only ever plays Bejewelled and the occasional driving simulator like Gran Turismo or Forza.

My mum was never a gamer, she only ever plays bejewelled, (though she has recently been playing hidden object games).

Can't ever coax them into trying anything.

My older and younger brothers did play games when we were kids, but my older brother only plays crap like Call of Duty, and Fifa these days.
(Though he is partial to a good Bioware game, (plays them obsessively), and does want to try out the latest Pokemon game)

My younger brother still plays old games, (but won't touch newer games since they tend to be complicated).
He's really been getting into using the Arcade machine.
Loves old Arcade games, especially puzzle games.
He has a real penchant for Puzzle League, Puzzle Bobble, (he's on par with me on it. Which leads to some pretty intense sessions), Tetris, Tetrisphere (he loved trying that one out yesterday), Dr. Mario.
His favourite has to be Yoshi's Cookie.

If he's not watching TV or a DVD, then he's usually up for a game or two.

My dad and I used to sink coin after coin into the likes of House of the Dead, its sequel and Point Blank. He was terribly shit at them, but at least he tried.

My mom used to play adventure games some, back in the day. King's Quests, Spycraft, that sort of thing.

These days she mostly plays little puzzle games like Bejeweled. She bought herself a DS to play Brain Age though, so I bought her Professor Layton (among a few others) which she liked enough to buy herself at least one of the sequels.

My parents do not game at all. Neither of them have any skill at it, and they both consider it rather silly. That's what being born in the early 60's will do to you.

My father likes puzzle games and my parents play a boggle clone on the computer together all the time. My dad played the Odyssey² a bit with me when I was a kid, but he's not into action games.

Nope. Used to, a really long time ago. My dad was a gamer in the late '70s to early '80s. He introduced me to Space Invaders, Frogger, Pac-Man, and Defender, and then he just... quit. I guess he got too busy and lost interest or something. :(

Not anymore, long story short my dad couldn't handle 3D graphics when the jump to the PSX/N64 hit, but before then I've got a lot of good memories of playing games with him and some of his friends. It's funny how some of the games I played with them remain as some of my top favorites on the SNES and are really replayable, as they liked the weirder puzzle-esque kind of platformers and stuff. Here's what I played:

- ActRaiser I beat with my dad when I was 5, he read everything for me.
- Lemmings, my dad and his friend were way better than me at the time. They got all the way to 5 stage bonus levels or whatever they were called (Taxing?)
- Another World and Flashback.
- Lost Vikings.
- Earthworm Jim.
- Super Ghouls & Ghouls, my dad's friend and him were just as shocked as everyone about the "restart" at the end of the game, where you have to go through the entire game again on a harder difficulty and must have that one special weapon to really beat it. Not sure if we ever did manage it.

There were probably some others but these games stand out a lot. My dad and some of his friends loved these games.

I played a good bit with my late grandfather as well when I was even younger. We played TMNT III on the NES and beat it a lot, and in general just played a lot of old NES two player games together. Good times.

My dad got back into games a tiny bit with the PS2 and with games like SSX, but that was about it.

My dad and I used to play the original two Zelda games together (taking turns) when I was pretty young, among other NES classics he had like Contra, Metroid, Super Mario 1 and 3, Castelvania, etc. He hasn't played many games since then but recently purchased a Wii primarily for Netflix and seems to really be enjoying Mario Kart.

My mother used to play the hell out of adventure games like Myst and Shivers a few years back, but has pretty much entirely stopped playing games, although she did get herself a Game Boy Color with a puzzle game or something for like five bucks. Never actually seen her play it though.
