I'm not sure you can make a comparison between Killer 7's writing and anything. Positive or Negative.Opa Opa wrote:Flower, Sun, and Rain is infinitely better than Killer7 as far as writing is concerned.

It haves a great plot BUT the game requires incredibly advanced algebra to solve some puzzles, for example:Opa Opa wrote:Flower, Sun, and Rain is infinitely better than Killer7 as far as writing is concerned.
Go to the 1F lobby and go through the back to the Power Lunch restaurant. Check
the back right corner of the table sticking out from under the balcony for Lost
& Found Puzzle (#47). The second clue asks for the volume of a 12-sided object
(called a dodecagon) with a diagonal length of 10cm and a height of 3cm. First,
you need to find the area of the base of this object. A diagonal of dodecagon
would also be the diameter of a circle inscribed in the dodecagon. The radius
of this circle would be 5. Now you can use a formula to find the area of the
base:
12 (2 - square root of 3) r^2
12 (2 - square root of 3) = 3.21539031 but you need to round it down to 3.
5^2 = 25
Multiply the two numbers from above 3 x 25 = 75 square cm for the base.
You still need to multiply by 3 to get the volume 75 x 3 = 225 cubic cm.
That's fucking insane.

Well that's odd, to say the least. Is there any way to progress if you can't figure out the puzzle?KillerJuan77 wrote:It haves a great plot BUT the game requires incredibly advanced algebra to solve some puzzles, for example:Opa Opa wrote:Flower, Sun, and Rain is infinitely better than Killer7 as far as writing is concerned.
*quite complex algebra*

It's the same company. A comparison in writing is perfectly reasonable within the same developer.AppleQueso wrote:I'm not sure you can make a comparison between Killer 7's writing and anything. Figure it out, use a guide, or turn the game off.

Use a guide, if not then in the words of Coyote Smith: "You're fucked!"brunoafh wrote: Well that's odd, to say the least. Is there any way to progress if you can't figure out the puzzle?
The european version translation isn't very good either so some puzzles become more complicated due to it.

Despite arguments sake Suda got some great games...
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

Even his worse games are pretty cool, if you have an european PS2 or a modded PS2 you should try Michigan: Report From Hell, it's one of the most original and disturbing games I've ever played.TEKTORO wrote:Despite arguments sake Suda got some great games...
The Samurai Champloo game is fantastic too.
