I started right when Hivebent was wrapping up, and that took me 3 days nonstop. In the most recent part he's added several longer interactive flashes that take 30 minutes to play out sometimes. But at the time I had a terribad connection so the flashes took forever to load. Hopefully he keeps the site in the green layout. It looks so much better.

He's doing the Doc Scratch thing because apparently his life got really hectic and couldn't keep his pace with long Flash battles and such.

Also, because it can never be said enough, fuck Vriska.

I don't know why, but...I actually like Vriska. Fuck Eridan.

He's tried to make her likable with the whole "I HATE YOU SPIDERMOM!" and "I'm the victim!" crap she's spouting, hoping that will mitigate her basically causing everything bad ever.

Eridan's just as bad, but his came from left field a bit more. I feel he was really inconsequential to the plot, and Hussie was trying to find one thing to get him to do (I think once the trolls entered the medium he appeared for 3 seconds in a flash and that's it. Of course this is justified but still).

I dunno. Honestly, I don't like Aradia too much. She's nicer and all, but...I don't know. There's just something about her I don't like.

I also like Nepeta a lot. Kinda weird because I hate RPing.

Sollux really gets shafted in the comic, though. He rarely gets (or rather, got) mentioned at all. The rivalry between him and Eridan kinda seemed thrown in to try to give them both more some screen time.

Just tomorrow? Plan out a week. It's nearly 4000 comics long now, along with some of them being long Flash animations and controllable games.

Tell you what; I'll read Homestuck if you read Real Life Comics. Deal?

"I have something lined up, but haven’t heard from the guy helping me out in a few days. So I’m not sure about the timing on this. I can’t go into more details on the solution than that yet."

And I’m fine with floating that cost myself, from ad revenue and sales, and making the business side of things work to sustain it. This is a little different. A conservative estimate has the cost at $10K for one day. This is not considering excessive page reloads, the aftershocks of hosting it for the following weeks, or an unanticipated viral explosion beyond the already high expected traffic. Could be anywhere from $10K to $100K to host this one stupid file, which is bankruptcy territory."

Over $10,000 to pay for this Flash! If only his store could keep things in stock for more than a few hours.

In other news, I just bought this. Gonna be John Egbert for Halloween this year, in his Vriska-style outfit.

I couldn't really get into it when I tried. I really ought to try it again though. I've heard nothing but good things about Chris Hastings, plus Anthony Clark (from Nedroid) does the colors on it.

Did you start with Issue One Half or Meet The Doctor and His Friendly Staff? Becasue Issue One Half is kinda strange and awkward. Even Chris Hastings recommends starting with Meet The Doctor.
