This was my problem. TvC grabbed me for months and did not let go (it still hasn't really), but MvC 3 did nothing but underwhelm me. TvC just seems like a stronger game on all fronts, not to mention a stronger retail package with more/better content.
I think part of my problem might be that I can only use the same Marvel characters so many times before I'm kinda over it. Other than She Hulk and Dead Pool, the marvel side is either redundant or lame.
TvC had one of the most diverse and all around neat casts I've ever seen.

Finally got around to beating the Saturn port of Street Fighter Alpha 2. I'll be honest - I played Alpha 3 before I ever touched Alpha 2. So I am a little biased towards the massive cast and multiple 'Ism's'.
That said, SFA2 is still a great game and there are a lot of techniques that I cleared the game without even managing to pull off - like the custom combos or the alpha counters. The computer did those like mad against me but I couldn't figure it out myself.
This port is pretty impressive considering it isn't accessing that 4mb cart I have sitting in the cartridge slot. There is a little slow down compared to the Arcade original and a few loading screens - still way better than the PSX version of the same.
I also played through Street Fighter Alpha for the gameboy color. This game is pretty awful but I think the art choices made to compensate for the platform are admirable. This is definitely rendered obsolete by SFA3 Upper for the GBA.
