Finally got around to updating the render for the server. Everything looks so small like this

Finished off the station recently, can go to 3 different locations now, wiring all the redstone took ages to make it all user friendly. Pretty pleased with it though.

And things are starting to come together at the main base too.

Again, if anybody wants to hop in and play, feel free to PM me.

The Minecraft Survivalism Mod
by voodoo frog

http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/349 ... alism-v12/

This is just the kind of thing this game needs. It's a mod that ups the ante for the survivalist aspects of Minecraft. It makes it so that the game now requires you to manage some of your daily life functions, such as eating, drinking, and resting. There are new meters added to the GUI for thirst, hunger, and fatigue. It also makes it so that it you run out of lives, you get locked out of your world. In the mod's hardcore mode you only get one life and then your world is deleted. To allow for the rationing of water and food, the mod also introduces some new items called the waterskin, which functions like a canteen, and the energy bar for powering through long journeys.

I would agree... However, getting people to pitch in to host one, let alone the fight over who gets to maintain it would be a huge hassle... I'm up for it if anyone else is though.

If someone does host it, were going to use the bukkit server application, with the essentials and WorldGuard plugins. Simple as that.

I finally tried this game out on a recommendation from a friend and it is so damn addictive it feels like it could slowly start to chip away at my soul.

Playing Minecraft has increased my OCD. I have to keep everything organized and clean now.

I'm trying out the free outdated verion and there is MAJOR lag, I can hardly even move. Does this mean that me computer probably can't handle minecraft?(Wouldnt surprise me...), or is it a problem with the free version?

Minecraft is a little laggy. There are definite popup issues. This is largely because the world is procedurally generated, so the game is crunching a lot numbers all the time. You might want to try going into the options and shortening the draw distance. If it's still not working, it's possible that your PC can't handle the amount of number crunching needed for this game to create its worlds.

Or that Java as a language is ridiculously slow.
