Unfortunately, the Wii's lack of RAM and the nonexistent support for the browser kills it for me otherwise.
I agree the Wii remote is a great wireless "Mouse", especially with the feet up kicked back on the couch. I imagine PS3 Move sensor works similar. Not sure about the 360 move though.

A great idea of using a wireless USB Keyboard.

Without going into computer vs consoles though, any other thoughts on unique controllers and workarounds to easily view web pages on the HD?

I seem to recall Niode talking about that at one time, but I could be crazy...

No, you're not crazy. It was when we were talking about making a Racketboy app.
I know Niode's mentioned a lot of cool things he would do to the forums if he had the power to.

Wait a second, you're saying something designed for a mouse and keyboard is worse on a controller?
I'm not referring to the controls but rather the page rendering. Lots of pages don't display correctly without errors, etc. The PS3 YouTube plugin is buggy as I don't see any options for switching between resolution modes nor will it display any videos that are not public.

Thats't the sort of reason I have a PC hooked up to my TV. Not that I do a ton of actual browsing on it (though sometimes, if friends are over, it can be fun), but if web content is going to work right on anything it's probably going to work right on a PC. Same with downloaded files, and so on.

Use this http://www.youtube.com/xl
I can browse with ps3 just fine, but in the end, why would you want to?
There are so many different settings, some tucked away and it is always a pain in optimizing it. I wish the ps3 browser had tabs like most modern browsers. Also big sites do not work that well. It also crashes occasionally. To bad I cannot check my e-mails. Mail sites have all sorts of protection etc. It won´t work with a ps3.
