I've been meaning to start a thread asking the same thing!

The first time was late '99 when I was 17 (young and had no job), A guy at a fleamarket was selling a Neo Geo Aes for $100 bucks with two controllers and I think with king of fighters and some other game I dont remember! Of course I had no job back then, I was too poor and barely starting my collection. Also when you have parents that dont care for your hobby...well..... But had that been Now I would have done everything I can to get it.
About five or six years ago I went to a fleamarket again and I had no money, I saw a guy selling a Vectrex system with 8 games and with the screen covers for $50! It was already too late for me to go to an ATM since I had to go to work, and that was a once a week fleamarket. The next week when I went back, that selller was gone!
Lastly, a few years ago I went once again, and There was someone selling a Nomad, complete and opened but still with the box, The guy wanted $20 for it, but since I barely got to the fleamarket and still wanting to look around, decided to pass on it to see if there was anything better out there, there wasn't and when I went back it was gone!
There have been some other times that I've lost out on some games, but thats happened to everyone, but these ones I've said here with the consoles are the ones that leave a metaphorical tear in my eye

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.
