FWIW, I put magicdisc on my P233 Win98SE system. Works fine. If you're looking for a light weight one (daemon tools was kind of big IIRC), I'd recommend that.

PowerISO always worked well enough for me and was the first one I used. Never had any issues with it so I've just always stuck to using it by default.

That's what I was thinking. I've only used Daemon and Virtual Clone drive, but I can't see how one would fail in comparison to another as long as it does it's job. It's not like, "Daemon Tools mounts images WAAAAY better than Virtual Clone Drive," just a preference over the interface.
