Re: help me brainstorm some classic games
I was kind of disappointed that Pro Am for the NES loops. I still love the game but it would have been nice to see an ending of some type.
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

Re: help me brainstorm some classic games
Beat-em-up - River City Ransom, Streets of Rage 2, Guardian Heroes
Fighting - Soul Calibur 2, Tekken Tag Tournament, Smash Bros Brawl
Platformer - Sonic 2, Donkey Kong Country 3, Mario Sunshine
Shooter - which type of shooter? F/TPS or shmup? I'll assume first and say I honestly dunno, because you seem well versed on shmups.
Action - Revenge of Shinobi, Jet Set Radio, Gunstar Heroes (a bit of a wide category really)
Adventure (Action) - Ocarina of Time, Chibi Robo, Beyond Good and Evil
Adventure (point n click - wasnt sure which type you wanted) - Another Code/Trace Memory, Phoenix Wright, Sam and Max Season 1
Driving/Racing (changed to racing because you dont really drive in unirally)- F Zero GX, Mario Kart DS, Unirally
Puzzle - Art Style Picopict, Puzzle League, puyo puyo
Rhythm - Parappa the Rapper, Elite Beat Agents, Rhythm Heaven/Paradise
Simulation - er.....Harvest Moon? Animal Crossing? if you count those as simulation. Also Theme Park
RPG - Tales of Symphonia, Final Fantasy IX, Pokemon Black/White
Sports - Super Punch Out, Mario Tennis, ......erm....Beach Spikers (not really my genre)
Strategy - Fire Emblem, Advance Wars Dual Strike, Pikmin(?), Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (couldnt limit it to 3)
These are the first games that came to my head. Most are big names, theres a few moreobscure ones in there that just happened to be among my favourites.

I have the Turbo CD one on virtual console, and it's fantastic, but I've never played the sega CD one to compare. I hear the music and graphics are better though.
