I'll be hacking and slashing hundreds of enemies in Sengoku Musou Chronicle, and just from pushing buttons, the 3DS will move ever so slightly and that will break the 3D effect for a second. Of course, if you are using motion controls the 3D effect doesn't work at all but even for button based games, it is far too easy to break the 3D.MrPopo wrote:Am I the only one that doesn't have an issue with the viewing angle? I'm not surprised that some people just leave the 3D slider off at all times. 3D was a cool idea but it doesn't really work well enough.
I wanna add that I still have only played 2 games (Sengoku Musou and Ridge Racer). The 3D effect looks far more impressive with Ridge Racer, compared to Sengoku Musou, but it breaks even easier. I would set the 3D slider just high enough for the 3D effect to be on and it would still break on me constantly. It's really a shame. I want it to work because it's so cool but it makes it harder to play the game with the 3D effect breaking all the time.
I did order Pilotwings Resort but it won't ship to me until One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP comes out (I ordered them together as one package). Supposedly Pilotwings uses the 3D the best, so I am looking forward to trying it out.
At first, I was blown away by the 3D effect but the more I use the 3DS, the more annoyed I am by it. The word "gimmick" seems appropriate here. >_>
