I've always been a big fan of trains, especially when I was younger. My personal favourite is the Mallard, the fastest UK steam locomotive ever, and the InterCity 125.

The most train related game I've played is A-Train. Not really a train simulation game, but, it was okay fun. I'm not huge on simulators but, I'm still waiting for Combat Flight Simulator 4.

Unfortunately I'm not aware of any major train sims for the Mac OS platform.

Big railfan here. And the Densha games rock, I'd recommend the PSP ones, if I had to, but if you really want the experience go after a controller.

Spirit Tracks is the best rail simulator I've played on the DS.

I hated that game so much I actually traded it in to Gamestop...a Zelda game. I don't care if it is part of the Zelda series, I won't have it in my collection.
