NO way. That's the name of a Simpson's character, believe me, I know my TV.
Re: World Map According to Americans
You're thinking of Charles Montgomery Burns. The Simpsons has several characters who share names with cities, such as Jebediah Springfield, Shelbyville Manhattan, Jasper Beardly, Elizabeth Hoover, Boobarella, Rachel Jordan, Nick Riviera, and Allison Taylor, to name a few.Sideroller wrote:NO way. Why the hell would a non-American want or need to locate every US state on the map? It's so damn irrelevant.o.pwuaioc wrote:I've yet to meet a non-American who could accurately locate every state in the US, but plenty of educated people my age can.

I can locate every Canadian and British province on the map. Just because it's irrelevant doesn't mean people aren't going to know that stuff.jfrost wrote:Why the hell would a non-American want or need to locate every US state on the map? Good for you, but that's really irrelevant to a non-American, really. I might as well ask you to name the 26 Brazilian states. Who cares, right?BoringSupreez wrote:I can locate every Canadian and British province on the map. Just because it's irrelevant doesn't mean people aren't going to know that stuff.
