Just got Brawl. It's Horrible!

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Well I'd rather stay open to objectiveness even after I've decided to purchase something, than already convince myself something is flawless without even playing it.
Eh, it's how I've always done things. I make judgement calls on all sorts of things in life as fast as possible, and I always seem to be right in the end. I guess it's just fun to do. Not only for games, but movies, music, and people. There was surely a point here or there over the years when I was wrong, but I've been thinking hard and I can't recall any of those times. I'm simply introduced to something or someone, and I can instantly determine if he/she/it is awesome or shit. It's a gift. What can I say? :D

If you can even remember what this topic was about in the first place you might recall the first sentance of my first post.
The Apprentice wrote:My brother and his friend went to a smash bros. Tournement tonight at Gamestop and brought home the game.
My brother bought the game, as he did with Melee, and he is satisfied. In the meantime, you seem to have completely dropped your stance on two different arguments, twisted a discussion of Brawl's weaknesses into oh, how should I put this...

To his credit, Flak Beard specifically noted that that post was not directed at you, but since then, you've managed to completely trash this thread by trying to bash me.

You also completely disregarded the fact that your genious statement "We live in an age when we don't necessarily have to PLAY a game to know what it's like" was completely invalid, and you basically told a person who made a very good point to shut up. Apparently, you don't want a topic, debate, or argument, but rather you would like to call me and the others who criticized a game you've never played "loosers" and then plug your ears and yell "I don't here you" like a little girl when somebody has something to say back to you.

If you've got an argument to make, make it now. But if you keep up this "sell me your Wii" thing, which has little to do with anything anyway, then I'm done here.

Just stop crying. No one is attacking anyone. I haven't seen any name-calling going on. Now you've been here for a while, so I'm sure you've noticed that I don't sway to someone else's opinion. It's just not going to happen, buddy. Everyone here will always have two choices in how to deal with me; listen to or ignore. The "convert" option does not apply to me.

You're so tough, you know that? I'm glad that now you have no argument, you've decided you won't argue anymore. It must be so great to be a guy who can follow simple logic like that. Maybe while you're at it, you can not ruin the next thread I start, sound good? Buddy? I'd like to see the internet without people like you.

No one's trying to convert you, but by stating that there's only two ways to "deal" with you, implies you're conscious to the fact you are one sided even if you're claims fail under scrutiny and others make valid points. Hence the whole the whole "fingers in your ears" point that The Apprentice made.

Like I said before, to each is own with Brawl. It is however, an undisputed fact that the man who's played Brawl has a more credible opinion even if different.

Fun isn't it? This thing just keeps going and going, because you don't know when to shut up. You know, most of the time when something like this is going on, a moderator comes along and locks it up nice before this situation arises. Oh wait, the moderator on this site is starting problems, not solving them. Go ahead, make the problem worse by trash talking a little more, moderator. Whoops, I mean, buddy.

Once again, I haven't caused any trouble. You just cant tolerate someone having a different opinion than you. I'm always confident in my own. You should be in yours. If you were, you wouldn't be dragging this out.

So are you saying you want the thread closed or not? I'll do it if you tell me that's what you want. I never asked to be a mod, and I'm very tired of people making me out to be scary and all-powerful. I swear, every time someone has trouble arguing with me, they hint that if I weren't a mod, they could show their true colors and really put me in my place. I don't treat anyone unfairly around here. Give it a rest. I've done nothing to you.
