Who All Has A modded Saturn?

After realizing I sucked too much to perform the swap trick(or Nights doesn't work for swapping/you need a CMOS battery because mine was dead) I bought a chip from Racketboy. Oh, yes.. I remember that night..just me, my Saturn and all of those imports.

LOL -- just start with the A+B method and just wedge to power cable in there.
You will want to solder eventually, but its a start

I never soldered it. I just made sure to insert the power wire into the PSU's pin holders first, then pressed the PSU down onto the power pins, so that the mod chip's wire was clamped tightly against the contacts. Never had an issue.

I got home from work tonight and my modchip was in the mail waiting for me. Nice turn-around time, racketboy. I ordered it less than 4 days ago.

I finished modding my Model 2 32-pin Saturn in under 15 minutes. I made a nice little solder bridge between A + B on the modchip then soldered the power wire to pin 2 on my power board. It booted Akumajo Dracula X immediately. I put the screws back in and then replaced the Saturn's battery.

The mod was easy. It almost took longer to remove the screws than it did to do the mod. I did find it helpful to file the modchip down on one side before instering it into the mainboard.

just bought 3 chips from rocketboy and my buddy is sending me his derby and white saturn to mod and also I just bought a white one to mod for myself

I bought 2, for my buddy, then i was kind of hessitating on buying a white saturn, then I did so then i ordered another 1 a day later and I had ordered one previously before the 2.

i have a white model 2 with a blue power led
