People have sold off their collections when the shit hits the fan in the past. I couldn't resist. I was even nice enough to offer higher payment then he was asking. Never again though.

Thinking back I believe I saw you playing Killzone 3 after you had posted this little scam. Really had me thinking - What kinda asshole would be in a family crisis - selling all his games - and still playing the newest one?

I saw the post about 10pm last night and almost sent you some $ straight up for no games. I thought it was the least I could do after all the work you do to help others with the charity auction, but then I noticed two things that gave the joke away:
1. You mention not responding until after midnight, and that part was in italics.
2. The part about not being on the site until after midnight because of the situation stuck in my mind, and then I saw a post by your around 5pm and your original post was around 3pm.

Needless to say I was impressed with the joke, but I did check first thing this morning to make sure and then help out if needed.

if this would have happened ANY other time during year i would have sent a pm. and probably a shit ton of other people too. but the fact it was on april fool's day, you locked the thread, and you wouldn't respond until after midnight was just too obvious.

but, actually saying it was a family problem was clever. kind of.
