I think that depends on the custard, and I think it would be easier to run across it than walk across it.

Custard has cool properties - like silly putty, it can react as "bounce" or "pliable" depending on the type of contact it is subjected to. So if you quickly "poke" a bunch of custard that is at the right concentration, the spoon will tend to bounce back, whereas if you slowly insert the spoon or leave it there, it will sink.

I think this just confirms that we need to fill a swimming pool with custard.

I would totally like to run on one myself. But I would require the swimming pool to be cleaned with non-toxic substances before filling and for all runners to thoroughly wash their feet, so that the custard could be gobbled up after.
