Tails Adventure, Sonic Drift 2, and Battletoads were the games I most fondly remember for the GG. Give them a spin, you won't regret it.

I'm gonna jot down all these suggestions and hit my favourite second hand shops in town tomorrow, they've got some reasonable retro collections for such a small town

I'm a little late, but I'll throw in my two cents. If it's your cup of tea, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, not the movie one, is great on the Game Gear, but some people can't get past the Power Rangers part. Also The Lion King is a really good platformer, not quite as good as the Genesis version, but great none the less.

master of darkness looks real neat. Looks like an old school Castlevania.
