I also rent and sell PS2, Wii and XBOX softmod-kits and I collect DVD movies let me know what you have.
Oh I thought it was the same collection as the PS1. LAME!!!! 1 and 2 are the best of the series. Why wasn't 2 released on anything in the US except the over priced NeoGeo?!!! It was in every acade around that time, even the little cheesy one in Wal Mart.marurun wrote:OK, but that's still Samurai Shodown III and IV packed together in a case. I was wrong, it exists. I'll admit it. But you still can't get Samurai Shodown I or II on the Saturn. Which is a tragedy, because they'd kick ass.
well marvel superheroes arrived today and it is awesome and fairly easy too. I like that there arent 30+ moves to try and remember and the graphically style is excellent, I am a now a 2D fighter convert and on the look out of an AR and some of the other excellent games for the saturn
I have one question though, underneath your health bar there is another bat that the manual doesnt explain... wassit for?

The bar underneath is for performing the "ultra" or "hyper-combo" moves or whatever they are called in this game...they are the big fancy finishing moves.
The bar increases a lot when you attack and cause damage on your opponent, the bar increases a little bit when you take damage; actually it increases basically when you do anything that involves interacting with the other player or executing a special move. The bar will decrease by one level every time you use an "ultra" move. There's probably a list of moves and explanations on gamefaqs.
I should start playing this game again...haven't played in a while so forgive me if my answer is not complete!

kinda. you punch but before you get out of the punching motion (on screen) you start another move, fireball, super. then it goes in to super canceling.Curlypaul wrote:OK I've been reading a bit more of it and I was after some clafication: under the Magic Series heading the guy talks about 'cancelling' moves into other moves. Does this simply mean doing one attack and then the another straight after it?
Sorry if I'm being fick
