Should be it was made by 2015, Inc (Which pretty much turned into Infinity Ward). At any rate most console 'ports' or versions of PC games from that generation tend to be leaps and bounds behind there PC counterparts. It is only really this generation when they are on par.
Other than Allied Assault they are all pretty average and fall into the 'generic' mess of WW2 shooters of that generation.

I like how it's become a "generic mess of modern war shooters" this generation.
The next" mess" of shooters I imagine will rely on (semi futuristic based) physics related weapons / gimmicks such as seen in Singularity, Bulletstorm, etc

Sadly, I can totally see that happening.
(admittedly I thought Singularity was one of the better newer FPS's I've played in awhile, lol).
Anyway, before my thread gets derailed further... I think I'm feeling more confident about the Gamecube games now. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll be getting all three... might as well. They seem to be cheap enough.
I played Rising Sun quite a bit in high school and the multiplayer is great on it. I played through some of the single player campaign and it was just okay. Whenever you started on a turret enemies would all decide to come out of their hiding places

I thought Frontline was a joke. The first stage was great, but after that the game was soso at best. The mission where you have to escort the guy through the fields where he walks slowly, cant get hurt, and has unlimited ammo, was great from a "I hate escort missions" perspective, but rubbish from a gameplay perspective. The last time I played it I just stayed just out of range and let him take all the hits. On the flipside, the multiplayer is a fun diversion, if yall are just playing to have fun.
Pacific was a fun romp but European was the best of the console titles to me. It just fixed the issues I had with the other two. Pacific just never clicked, the controls were just alittle to floaty for me.
Allied Assault and Underground are the two best Medal of Honor titles - just stay away from Underground on the GBA. That was a horrible piece of rubbish.
