I gotta say, it's probably the best MK game since UMK3.

...that's really not saying a whole lot though...

Likes and Dislike

Dislike :
-uppercut not satisfying
-changing the uppercut from square button to triangle
-some combos that use to work dont EX: jump kick --> then iceslide
Now it just go through the enemy
-like i said before the standing stance are weak and unappealing

Likes:
-better than all the 3d mk they made but tahts not saying too much
-graphics are good
-environment are good
-sound effects very well done
-resemble more of the old mk

WiiU- jacktsang05

IDK, I downloaded it today and played one round real quick using Sub Zero. Meh. It just doesn't appeal to me. I'll play it some more, of course.

I'd honestly say this MK feels like the best MK I've ever played - and no, that's not 'since ...', just the best one. When I look back on even my favorite MK (MK2), I realize just how uniform all the characters were outside of special moves. This MK, with it's target combos, actually makes the characters feel a bit more unique outside of that.

This is game is what I have been waiting for since mk trilogy. And as a mk fan imo it shits all over sf4 and mvc3. If your looking for a fun good fighter this could be for you, if your stuck in a bubble and cant see past street fighter dont try it.

Those games are completely different, so it makes no sense to compare them. I own enough versions of each to figure that out years ago.

I thought the demo was not mind-blowing, but a strong showing in a revival.

Yeah... as the guys on SRK say, it's closer to Virtua Fighter than Street Fighter.

I downloaded the demo awhile ago and thought it was pretty fun. I liked the fatalities and the controls aren't too bad overall. I'll check it out on release but may wait to pick it up. 8)
