Well I don't know that they're THAT worthless. They look pretty cool, and although I'm not really dying to have one, they're interesting collector's pieces.

Considering how I got mine, I cannot sell them. However, they are not worthless. Effort did go into them, and it certainly is possible, from what I know, that they are not pirate copies, but are legit! Still, that has never been confirmed afaik.

You know, if during the earthquake a copy of Sapphire fell off a shelf in Tokyo and the jewel case got smashed, but is in otherwise great condition, I'd buy it when I go next month! As long as the manual and disc are in good shape, and if they discounted it enough, I get it. But, that's probably wishful thinking.

I sold my CIB one on Ebay for $200 about a year ago, so they're definitely not "worthless" (and yes I specifically stated that it wasn't the original pressing for sale).

You have no need for them and they are not real. People want them to be real so bad, they come up with all these reasons bootleggers wouldn't make them. There are people in china doing this all the time. It doesnt cost them much to press these kind of discs.

Look, our friend Breetai has already said he won't sell these for a profit. Those acquaintances of yours in Hong Kong are dishonest thieves. I don't get how there is some short-circuit in Chinese morality, as if it is encoded into their DNA. Whether it's Hong Kong, Taiwan, or China (and I guess Singapore too), they can care less about intellectual property rights and copyrights. I had a friend from Hong Kong in college who'd tell me, "Why should I pay $40 for a Playstation game when I can buy a stack of them for $10 in Hong Kong?" It's because the crap in Hong Kong is copied and those who worked to create the game don't get any money for their work thanks to countless Chinese who feel no remorse for buying bootlegged crap.

So in short, give it a rest, dude. Breetai obviously has more decency and moral fiber than a heck of a lot of people in Hong Kong.
