PC Engine Sapphire

Post by Breetai »

21 copies of Sapphire.

Kind of cool, eh?

They are all care4data prints. I definitely did NOT drop $10,000 on these. :D

2012 update (yes, really...): These are not for "sale". Unless I know who you are (ie. regular here that I recognize or at PCEngineFX or another site I frequent), I'm not likely to give one up.

Funny, I always referred to my baby blanket as, "my silky."

The bootleg Sapphire games are so very well-made that if they would just admit that they are fakes when they sell them, I honestly wouldn't mind putting down $20-30 for one. Hudson's not making any money on that PC Engine game anyway. I just won't pay $600+ for a replica. They did a good job in making a good replica, so if I buy one and go ahead and buy the PSP version, then I won't feel guilty.

The baby blanket is my baby's. ;)

Yeah, these are from that infamous batch of "well-made replicas." I've heard a debate that they are actually legit Hudson discs from a second printing, but I don't know if there's any truth to that or not. Either way, that are NOT from the original print run at the end of the PC Engine's life span. I don't know what I'm going to do with them all, but they are not originals (even though they look like originals unless you know what to look for).
