Oh, it was canceled? I'm a little disappointed but that's probably for the best. The 3DS will be hard to beat.
Panasonic did make some 3DOs and they were super expensive, but they also made some Gamecubes after that (Panasonic Q Gamecube). Those were super expensive as well. >_>
Good Luck, Panasonic.

"Panasonic hasn't made a console since the 3DO."
Look up the Panasonic Q, wasn't made entirely by Panasonic but Panasonic did a lot.

Yep. Panasonic never had their own console. They made a 3DO and a Gamecube, both for other companies' systems. The 3DO Company created the 3DO and Nintendo created the Gamecube.pankakes123 wrote:"Panasonic hasn't made a console since the 3DO."

I find it interesting how professional gaming news sites don't know this.

Did you buy one?! I have been hearing about this device for a while and want a review
Re: Good Luck, Panasonic.
At least they canceled it this time before they did (more) damage to themselves.
Re: Good Luck, Panasonic.
So have I, but the price is completely out of my pocketbook. It might make for a decent replacement laptop... actually I am tempted now since the cheapest broadband I can obtain just happens to be the new 4G/3G network T-Mobile rolled out in my neighborhood. Buying an external modem and attaching it to something that's not even 1 lb.Bradtemple87 wrote:Did you buy one?! Given the fact that my main computer is a 7-year old laptop tablet, is there a downside to this??

First time I've heard of Pandora, and I have to say... that is so cool!
This marks the first time that a "portable pc" type device has interested me.
I want one...
Too bad I can't afford it. Fucking mortgage. Fucking bills. Fucking everything that doesn't include the whims of my hobby!

Given that the next generation of consoles are starting to come out, I am going to hold off on the Pandora until the next generation of homebrew consoles come about [Like the Pandora 2
] that will be true powerhouses that can handle near-perfect Dreamcast, Gamecube, and PS2 emulation.
