7800, Jaguar, NES2, SNES, GC, Wii, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, 3DO, NGPC
That's what SMB would look like if it would've been on the Atari 2600... I also saw one recently of what Super Mario Galaxy would've looked like had it been on the SNES.
Atari 2600 (AV mod), NES, SNES (region switch for PAL), Virtual Boy, Gamecube, Wii (D2CKey), PSX (Stealth V), PS2 (independence exploit w/ 160 GB HDD), Goldstar 3DO, Philips CD-i, Dreamcast, Saturn (racketboy's chip), Sega Genesis 2 + CD2 + 32X + Power Base Converter, Game Gear.

Yeah, it would have been one crappy game.lordofduct wrote:Yeah like Moz said, just a sprite hack most likely. On top of the physics issues, the 2600 couldn't handle that many independent simultaneous sprites either.now check out this Atari 2600 makeover of the original game.
I think 2600 Pac-Man would have been far better.

but is it really just a rom hack? I couldnt catch everything they were saying when they were talking about using the fireball in 1-2, made it sound like there was ALOT more involved in this than just replacing textures.
