It was a lot of fun, and a reason I got into PC gaming back then (Wow seven years ago, I'm old). I had an AMD3200+ with an ATI x700 with 256mb of VRAM and a gig of RAM. The game was terrifying to play at night by yourself, and I enjoyed the flashlight mechanic since it made the thrills even more chilling. It wasn't like the other Doom games where you light up a room, and felt like survival horror and Doom meet. The story, to be fair, is a Doom story which is kill everything. It seemed like it was going to have something more at first, but yeah evil scientist opens up the gates of hell. Now, the story is over, keep blasting lol.
