Are these Ghosts or Just my Imagination?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I'm going to agree with them on this one. The problem with it is that it's become somewhat popular to say global warming exists. Who are the figureheads of the "climate change is real and humans are causing it" side? Al Gore, who is not a scientist (no matter how much he wants to believe it) and Michael Mann, creator of the hockey stick graph (which has since been deemed unusable due to Mann "creating" data).

I have written a seven page paper on the subject, and if I wasn't limited to only three topics, I could have easily written twenty.

But back to ghosts! There is certainly one haunting the Cubs. :(

I have read a lot of people saying "I have seen ghost videos, photos, etc. I have experienced lots of crazy paranormal activities..." but no one really elaborates on that. I am not getting into the debate because I have no constructive input on the matter, but I would like to see some "evidence" or at least hear some truthful stories for entertainment purposes.

Honestly I am terrified of ghosts so I am not the type to watch those types of videos and whatnot, at least by myself or at night. Where I live you can go on a ghost tour that takes you to a bunch of well known apparently haunted places but I am too much of a pussy to do that. I have heard that a lot of freaky stuff happens from people that have went though.

I can't really recall any time that I have experienced anything paranormal, but that could be for many reasons.
1) I am scared to death of stuff like that so I probably would of blocked it from my memory
2) 99% of the time our imaginations get the better of us, so it is hard to say what could be considered paranormal activity or simply a random noise/thing falling on its own that scares the crap out of me
3) Or maybe ghosts don't exist are there are perfectly logical explanations for everything that happens

I think the reason irrational people tend to believe stuff like ghosts, gods and angels is because they feel like they absolutely must have an answer to everything.

If there is a strange mark on on a photo, and they have no idea what it is, they assume it must have been a ghost. Now they have an answer and can relax.

They aren't sure where the universe came from or how it started so of course it must have been God.

A near death experience that they cannot explain was obviously the work of their guardian angel.

It is OK not to know everything. It is OK not to understand something and have an answer for everything. This is a very important lesson that some of you need to understand. If you don't understand something, keep an open mind and when the answer finally does get discovered, you can then consider it.

If you always automatically assume that unknown things are the work of supernatural beings, you shut yourself off from a possible truth.

If someone asks me how the universe started, I tell them, "I don't know." Maybe you should too.

Actually, according to several surveys done on this, Atheists are actually the ones who are more likely to believe in paranormal phenomena like ghosts, bigfoot, aliens, etc.
