That is one of the major concerns of the Micro, can you find the faceplate that you want? If you take care of it (e.g, don't put it in your pocket with keys), you shouldn't ever have to replace it. One of my micros has a noticeable small scratch on the faceplate screen (I bought it that way) but once it's on, you don't notice the scratch because the screen is very bright.
