Nobel Peace laureate Mohammed ElBaradei, whose young suporters were among the organizers of the protest movement, told The Associated Press, "This is the greatest day of my life."
"The country has been liberated after decades of repression," he said adding that he expects a "beautiful" transition of power.

One of the highlights of this uprising, the military's salute to the fallen. Interesting to note that in Tunisia and Egypt the military did not crush the popular uprisings.

I haven't followed this story very closely, but I find it very inspiring to hear about a civil uprising actually leading to change in government, especially with a leader that had such a stranglehold on the people.
