The Krondor game was nice. (Its sequel I have not played.)
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Really? For what? That sounds interesting to say the least.
Apple II and C64.

Hobie-wan wrote:There was a Night Watch game. I have no idea if it follows the book, the movie, or neither. Stalker seems to only be loosely based on Roadside Picnic and the 1979 film Stalker. These are the first two that came to mind.
There is a strategy Night Watch game and a racing game. The racing one is based on the movie while I think that the other one (or should I say Other one? 8)) is based on the book' world. I haven' played them despite my love for the books.
Stalker takes the general atmosphere, several ideas and locations from Roadside Picnic but I wouldn't sat it's BASED on the book. It's INSPIRED by it. The Stalker movie is also inspired by the book but has nothing in common with the games. Brilliant movie in my opinion but definitely not everyone's cup of tea.

There were The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole and The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole on the C64.
Would you count the Sherlock Holmes and Dracula FMV games on the MegaCD?

Arthur C. Clarke's "Rendezvous with Rama" was the basis for a text game C64 AND then a first person adventure game published by Sierra titled just "Rama."

I just looked it up, there was a Commodore 64 game based on the Chronicles of Narnia: http://www.mobygames.com/game/c64/narnia

It's interesting that it had physical dices and cards to use during gameplay.

Yes.

Also, the old Hobbit text adventure was not only based on the book (duh) but came WITH the book.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Dune yet :? .
