Wait, I remember being able to create a "custom" Mage. You have a limited number of points and can mix and match books (your proficiency in that element) with abilities. For example, the "Mirran" ability (starts you off on the Mana rich mirror plane, in principle alone for a goood while) costs 3 books worth.

Wait, I remember being able to create a "custom" Mage.
That was poor writing on my part.
I wanted to convey my displeasure at Master of Magic for allowing players to easily create a custom mage, even edit their own custom weapons to be found, but not include a custom Hero program. (Or fix the latest patch's glitching of some existing Hero's magic lists.)
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
