There's only one thing that bothered me, but that one thing is prevalent throughout the movie: The dialog. The dialog is almost all exposition.

Alfred Molina: This is a Chrysalis, a cocoon of sorts.
Forest Whitaker: She attacked because she was scared.
Please tell me that the audience for this film isn't that dumb.
All right. I won't. I don't remember that much exposition, but I watch a lot of crime dramas where they do the same thing so maybe I'm just used to it. Now that I think about it though, the film was part monster movie, part biology/psychology lesson.

The second one's really similar to the first, just to give you a fair warning.

It's actually on my very long list of movies I need to see. I'll admit though, that it's near the bottom of the list after my friend had me watch the original Last House On The Left with him a few months ago (We get together once or twice a month to either watch something totally new or something either one of us hasn't seen before). I'll admit it left a very unsettling feeling in the middle of my chest.
My friend, the great film connoisseur that he is, warned me about I Spit after we watched Last House. Told me I had to be prepared and in the right mood to watch it. I told him if it was any more intense than Last House than it'd be a while before I was ready to see it, which was fine with him, since he didn't seem all that psyched to see it so soon either. Still haven't gotten around to watch it yet. I know he has it somewhere, but we've both been in too good a mood lately to sit down and see it. Perhaps by the time Halloween rolls around we'll have prepared ourselves.

I appreciate it. God knows "Mr. Connoisseur" wouldn't give me the same courtesy
