Sometimes it takes literally 2 to 3 minutes for a page to load, and I can't get any pages except the boards to load at all. I'd like to either have the option to use the old site layout, or just some way to load a more basic version of the site, because these loading times are awful.

The forum was being really slow for me a bit ago. I think that's just server issues though, not related to the redesign specifically.

It's been this slow for me as well. I doubt it has to do with the site design.

I had no issues with the new site loading (still only a couple of seconds to load completely). Just a few minutes ago everything loaded fine until I tried to view my messages, which took a while. I agree, I don't think these issues are due to the new design.

I think the server was having hiccups last night. Saw some error message emails in the morning.
Speed seems fine to me even on my android phone.

It was hiccupy for me last night as well.

I thought it was me, my network was under heavy stress with some work at the time, so I put no thought into it.

It goes down or hiccups nightly for about 10-20 minutes around 1am EST. It has done this for a long time.

Well a week or two ago, I talked to my hosting company about that.
We have some cron jobs and backups running at that time, so we spread them out a bit. I thought it had improved since then. Am I wrong?

I've learned through my experience at work that cron jobs are the devil.
