I had a solid experience with Vista on a custom build (my main PC) until I upgraded to 7. Before that, I wanted to play around with Vista when it first came out. I dual booted it on my custom built XP box that I had at the time, a 10 year old computer with pre-SP1 Vista, and it ran solid.dsheinem wrote:I'm running XP on my laptop, Windows Vista on my gaming PC, and Windows 7 on my HTPC. All are stable and seem to handle what I throw at them with ease. What were the major complaints about Vista? I can't tell too many differences between Vista and Windows 7 since I tweak both to basically the same settings...Pulsar_t wrote:Migrating from WinXP to Seven.
