What operating system are you running?

Migrating from WinXP to Seven. The punters were right Vista is and always will be rubbish.

I'm running XP on my laptop, Windows Vista on my gaming PC, and Windows 7 on my HTPC. All are stable and seem to handle what I throw at them with ease. What were the major complaints about Vista? I can't tell too many differences between Vista and Windows 7 since I tweak both to basically the same settings...

I had a solid experience with Vista on a custom build (my main PC) until I upgraded to 7. Before that, I wanted to play around with Vista when it first came out. I dual booted it on my custom built XP box that I had at the time, a 10 year old computer with pre-SP1 Vista, and it ran solid.

And about Vista VS 7, from personal experience with my ex's laptop, windows 7 boots up waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster than vista.
