I like how you mentioned Sony Copying Nintendo, but you make no mention of Microsoft copying Sony. Eyetoy/PlayStation Eye
Simply because Kinect feels like a properly evolved Eyetoy (as Kinect uses full-body mapping) rather than Move practically being the same as the Wiimote (albeit using a camera instead of IR for tracking).
Now one could argue that by using a camera that Move is an evolved Wiimote, the contrast between Kinect vs Eyetoy is far more significant than the Move vs Wiimote. I still don't think that Kinect is as accurate as it should be but it feels miles apart from Eyetoy. With Wiimote+ and Move, I can't see a substantial difference between the two. If it does more than the Wiimote+ I have yet to see a game that makes use of it.

My roommate and I just bought Kinect a few days ago and I love it. Its far more accurate than I was expecting and an hour of Kinect sports every day could probably replace the half-hour of jump roping I do every other day.

I believe that Move and Kinect will crash and burn, sometime in the future, cause big time developers are deprived of imagination (I blame it on the publisher's executives), and will only make crappy mini game collections, like they did with the Wii. Plus Move and Kinect don't have the best developer of motion games (Nintendo) on board.

I would love to see them develop into something great, but unless they let indie developers to develop games for the thing (as many people have said, there's no way MS will let Kinect on XBLA, since it will be removing value from all the mini game collections), we won't see any imaginative uses of the tech, and sooner or later the public will move on to something else, just like they are doing now with the Wii (oh the irony, when the Wii finally got a bunch of great games at once).

I can't help but think of the state of console gaming in the early 80's. Developers flooding the market with cheaply made horrible games almost caused the gaming industry to collapse. Motion gaming is still in its infancy. Eventually developers will be forced to make quality motion games once people stop shelling out $60 for a game based on the box art.

After inadvertently ending up with all 3 motion sensing peripherals (MotionPlus, Move, and Kinect), I have to say that each one has their place, and each one has it's place. The MotionPlus will likely attract more games in the long run due to the Wii's vast install base, while the Kinect is perfect for games that require less sensitive control, but more user interaction, if that makes sense. Finally, the Move is perfect for any game that requires the use of a tangible object. The motion sensing for these devices really is amazing, but they are horribly under-utilized.

In reading some responses I'm sorry I was not more specific about move.

Sports champions was ok, I did like archery, bocce, and disc golf. Gladiator was alright but i couldn't get into table tennis, felt like i was blowing my arm out. It was bland overall. Kung fu rider sucked, as did the shoot. TV superstars was so so.

I guess my main dissapointment so far is lack of software that interests me. Like I said in my post next week I get to try extraction. See as it's very precise I am anxious to try a good shooter with it. I may try to find a cheap copy of RE5 since I never purchased it anyway and I love the RE games.

I'm not going out and trading it in or anything, I was just saying right now it's in 3rd place behind wii and kinect. Thank you all for the interesting feedback though, keep it coming

I've had a Wii for some time and just got Move but only have Sports Champions. The PS3 Move bundle was a gift but if it would have been up to me I would have skipped the Move portion. For quite a while I've wished that my favorite Wii games could be played with a simple control pad like other systems' games. The few of my really favorite games on Wii are actual Gamecube games that use a control pad (I never had a Gamecube).

Regardless, the Wii games that seriously get you off the couch are fun but basically glorified mini games at best. With Move, I've only experience the one game and it really works nice (while Wii is sometime vague) but I've yet to actually try it with a real action game. Thus far I've found that the only games for Move I'd be interested in require the navigation controller too so that's $60 for the game and $30 for another controller. Nearly $100 to play a single game? That'd have to be a really good game.... Other games are enhanced by using two Move remotes, again, doubt that will happen any time soon. I've never tried the Wii MotionPlus since, again, I don't see spending more money for hardware and other games the aren't really of interest to me (I predominently like action adventure games).

I do like the Move's ability to take photos and the Eye to be used as a video conference camera and microphone.

Keep in mind that the Move is only compatible with Resident evil 5 gold edition.

Hmm, I wasn't expecting a response this mindful. I was expecting something like: "Sony copies everything, man!"
