No, never had. Kinda weird, since I preferred my friend's SNES than my Mega Drive. I played a lot of games over at his house. Since I'm 23, I didn't get to play the first Mega Man games when they first came out, although Sonic and Super Mario World were all the rage when I was a kid. Mega Man X was the game that I loved by then, though. In 1995 I got a PlayStation, so I played MMX3 and MMX4 to death. I'm also a big fan of Rockman & Forte for the SNES. I only played the classics a couple of years ago.flamepanther wrote:And yet you never had a Nintendo console?jfrost wrote:I was a Mega Man kid through and through.
If Zelda is good for you, it might be worth your time to check out a few of the Metroid games and see if you like any of them. They have a similar style of game progression to the Zelda games.
About Metroid, i don't know... I don't really like Symphony of the Night. Wouldn't it be basically the same experience?

Not exactly. Different game mechanics, no RPG stats. I also find Nintendo's map designs superior to Konami's. It's even more different from that if you play the Prime trilogy.jfrost wrote:About Metroid, i don't know... I don't really like Symphony of the Night. Wouldn't it be basically the same experience?

C'mon~ I played through it 2x the other night. 1-1, 1-2, 4-1, 4-2, 8-1~4. 8 stages only and you can do it in about 5~10 minutes. Your homework starts now.noiseredux wrote:D.D.D. wrote:

I haven't played Majora's Mask. Maybe I should just wait for a 3DS remake at this point in time.
