I remember having a hk dvd of Fist of the North Star the movie that was taken from a japanese laserdisc print. Pretty good quality actually. Think I had a sailor moon set like that too.

I guess for me if i got into laser disk i would be more into anime OVA series that are pretty hard to find Like "Bobby's in Deep", Urban Square, California Crisis, Daicon (yea, the chances of getting that on laser disk is like finding a copy of the Nintendo World Championship game) and a handful of others.
Ive seen some selectavision stuff at a comic place in Cary Towne Center in Cary NC last summer with a buddy of mine when it was overtaken by a closed down Hungates. I saw a Selectavision "The Longest Day" that the cover art was kinda "clayish":
