Wow, you sure have a lot of PlayStations! So those PSones are all ready to play imports? (I don't really do backups. Just Imports.) Honestly if I have enough extra I might just take you up on one of those! I've always really liked the PSOne.jinn wrote:Wow, that looks like one of the first 3-4 wire chips.
No problem, just PM me when you are ready. I also have a few pre-mods for sale

I'm also going to look for all my PSX patches, there is a patch to remove the anti-mod protection from an ISO back-up.

All the systems are modded to play imports and back-ups. I have way more PSX and PSone systems, most need some type of repair before I can put them up for sale.
I'm including a patch so you can try it out and get your gaming going before you send in your system.

Oh, I just feel like I should mention before you recieve my system... It is an SCPH-7001 system, but it says SCPH-5501. See, my original case was a little beat and then I found the 5501 system in box at a thrift store. It didn't work but was in really nice shape so I switched the cases. Don't know if it really matters but... I just felt you should know.

No problem. I don't go by the model number. I use the motherboard number [PU-XX]

Re: PlayStation Import Problem
I had all six of the PSone Rockman rereleases. That modchip detection screen came up on all of them. Back then, before newer modchips, there were action replay codes to get past those screens. I was able to play Rockman 1,2,3 and 6 with those codes to bypass that screen. I never did manage to get Rockman 4,5 or X3 to work though. Always used to irritate me, but I had the original cartridge versions of all the games too back then so it wasn't the total end of the world.
Still have the Rockman 4 and 5 somewhere around here in mint shape too with mint disc, case and manuals. (Probably spine cards too, not positive on that though.) If I can find em, I'd probably sell them if you have any interest.
