Any good ebay alternatives?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Goozex is pretty cool. I got a couple of games out of a sign up bonus and an ridiculously high point value for Mario Party 6 (I got Kirby Air Ride, Beyond Good and Evil, and Mario Kart: Double Dash!). For some reason I can't log in to my account anymore, though. I've emailed them several times, but no response. It was good while it lasted.

I tried craigslist a second time and it failed again. So I'm just going to use ebay for now. Goozex doesnt help me because I want to sell, not trade.

and it's been said before, but despite craigslist being free it's full of flakes. and this guy always emailing me, trying to lowball me on everything and blaming it on his "wife".

well let me ask everyone on this site a question.
Ebay sucks right? craigslist is full of flakes?
What if there was a site where you could sell your items for free!
and it had a honor system that worked. not full of flakes like cl, not full of scammers on ebay.

would you flock to it?

I remember when eBay still had that "yard sale" feel.. there weren't many eBay "stores", just people trying to unload their stuff. I got really crazy deals like 6 years ago with out even trying.. now it seems like the only good way to get stuff cheap is to find auctions that are closing at 2 or 3 in the morning.

I think the problems with making a auction site that is geared just twords gaming would be hard since it will be harder to get a crazy deal. You wont have the grandma that is selling the Intelevision or NES that has been siting around the house. We will now be dealing with collectors that are either selling for a profit or selling what they have extra of.

I'm just surprised that there isn't any direct competition for eBay.
