Any good ebay alternatives?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Any good ebay alternatives?

Post by Mozgus »

They've gone too far with these upcoming price changes. Sure the listing fees are a few cents cheaper, starting Feb 20th, but take a look at the huge increase in the final value fees.

I just cant afford to sell shit on ebay anymore. This is too much. So what other sites can I use to sell gaming and electronics stuff?

LOWER FEE! (oh 5 cents)

tucked down lower
** we doubled your fees here **

Personally, I'll just have to pass to costs on to my customers, but my competition will have to do the same....

Well it's free apparently, so no harm in trying.

Wouldn't have made more sense to raise insertion fees and lower final value fees? This new structure will only drive more folks to sell things for $0.99 while charging $30 for shipping.

Well, honestly, they have most of us by the shorthairs. Where else can you reach such a worldwide audience to sell your items? I've purchased from all over the globe and sold to much of it as well. My latest sale, an official Dreamcast light gun, is off to Australia.

Craigslist does work pretty well. I put up a SNES for sale and had it sold same day. The guy even came and picked it up.

Typically, you can get some real good deals on there since there aren't other items to compare it to sometimes. You might get someone who has something and doesn't realize its value.
