Oh I forgot, fucking fisnish Persona 3 FES. I got stuck because it seems that having half of the people in your team with a weakness to electricity is bad against the three electric bosses you need to fight, who expected that?
So yeah, need to a character 20 levels.

I never game on my consoles because they are in my dinning room and my parents are usually there. I also don't feel confortable gaming with my family around, it's not inmersive. Unfortunatedly while it must exist I don't know of any adapter that works for the Megadrive.
I'm pretty sure there are scart to PC screen adapters. At least I've seen 1 once up close.
And then just buy something like this from ebay

Re: 2011 Gaming and Collecting Goals
The past few years for me have mostly been about building an awesome library of PC games. I think it is fair to say "mission accomplished". Now I need to actually play through some of them.
As for new games this year, putting together the Racketboy Advent Calendar was the most fun I had with games all year. There are so many exciting FREE indie games out there with fresh and fun ideas, I had just missed a lot of them until I really sat down and decided I was going to make a thread about them. This year I want to stay ahead of the curve and keep an eye on the latest indie games that get released in 2011. Of course, I'll be sharing my findings with you guys, so stay tuned in the personal computers forum.

^Lol, you really have a huge PC collection! Pics please!
@ZeroAX
I didn't know that that the circular cable was identical to composite! If that's the case I don't even need another adaptor, probably the PS2 one would work.

Re: 2011 Gaming and Collecting Goals
2010 was all about getting the actual consoles and modding them to the state I want. Just need a 32x and maybe a famicom to complete my home console collection, system wise.
So 2011 I have a few goals
Mod my arcade stick with a multiconsole ctuhlhu and a rj-45 jack so I can use it on pretty much anything. Should be knocking this out within the next few weeks.
Get a storage/display solution for my retro stuff, looking at one of those bigass garage shelves. Again, should be done soon. Just need to do some measurements.
Get my pc engine duo-r region modded, need to find someone who is doing this still.
Supergun and a 1 slot neogeo mvs - maaaybe bonus time, this will be the priciest "console" I own.
Game wise -
Attempt to beat at least 1 retro game per week. Sadly my first attempt at this was Ninja Gaiden, was doing pretty good until the goddamn cave level (4 or 5), youtubed the ending.
Spend less time on WoW and more on retro/pc games, the steam sale has given me plenty of ammo for this.
Continue to build up my boxed genesis/sms collection.
Non-gaming but semi related -
Continue learning electronics, opening up my saturn yesterday and having a vauge idea of how everything worked and hooked together was pretty fun.
And most importantly, try to keep within monthly gaming budget ;p.

Re: 2011 Gaming and Collecting Goals
No collecting goals...yet. I do, however, want to beat The Adventures of Bayou Billy for NES without Cheats or Save States. Also, if only to add to my Captain N title, beating Battletoads would be nice too.

The only way I could beat Bayou Billy was by getting extra lives/bullets in the training stages and then relying on jump kicks and whips. Ditch using the light gun, and slow down during the driving stages as it is really easy to lose lives while driving.
My goal? Perhaps defeating the 3 NES Ninja Gaidens in 1.5 hours. JT, you with me on this?

Good Bayou Billy advice, although I always liked the Light Gun stages, but I think I pretty much held my gun against the screen. I beat the game a few times using otherwise similar tactics. It's been a really long time, but I think if you get right below your enemies and jump kick, they tend to walk into it. I think that saved me a few times.
As for the Ninja Gaidens in 1.5... man, I don't know. I was never all that great at the 3rd one. I could probably keep pace on the first two, but getting through it all in 1.5 would be a definite stretch.

You might want to check if there're some world records that could be broken in that process.
