Hardboiled is one of my faves. The hospital sequence is so awesome. Try Stranglehold sometime. Not as great as the movie that inspired it, but still a good game

Oh, I have. Hard Boiled probably has better action, but I think I like The Killer more because it manages far more serious drama than it has any right to.

When it comes to John Woo's Hong Kong films, Bullet in the Head and A Better Tomorrow rule supreme.

I haven't seen BT yet, but BITH was a bit too much of a downer for me.

Better Tomorrow is a bit unpolished because of the low budget but I think it shines brighter for that being raw. Bullet in the Head is my favorite because of the different approach that Woo explored with more focus on the story than the huge action scenes. Not that I don't appreciate the scenes, i love them, but I want to see Woo focus on the story a bit more.

Easy A... pretty good.

Wall Street sequel... to avoid a late fee, I eschewed watching the last 20 minutes.

Also started watching this old movie, which isn't available on DVD yet, but it's streaming on NetFlix (and apparently it aired on MGMHD):

It's pretty trippy so far, and the song during the credits is catchy.

Here's some blog reviews, though some may have spoilers:
