some burner programs like diskjuggler and alcohol work almost flawless, I'm currently using a pioneer cd /dvd burner, which is by far the best burner i've used in a while, no buffer underruns and all that.. Just straight burning.I've used quite a few burners and always had problems. in my experience some of the images might have to be changed to bin/cue and then burned in that format for it to boot up. It has happened to me many times. especialy with dreamcast games and some sega saturn ones.
problem is, they all boot but the CD audio tracks on em are skipping. it really pisses me off when i play wipeout

you might want to change the mp3 track to wave or vice versa to a good bitrate. that might help . i'm pretty sure it's 128.

these are not MP3+ISO images. they are bin/cue

cripes man!! lol. i'm kiddin'..there are endless possibilities with why that's happening with the audio. i've burned bin/cue/ files with audio tracks. all that good stuff and i can consider myself an expert, being that i've burned about 200 saturn games..lol. maybe you should try cdrwin to burn your sega saturn games. If this doesn't work, i'm stumped man....

I've asked some techs i know from a pc shop out here and they recommended a pioneer so i purchased one. The price is so cheap it's crazy, like 30-40 bucks and it's so worth it. I absolutely have no problems with it. Unless someone thinks otherwise, i would go for it. i mean i have already..lol, but i know what you mean about the shitty burner, I've had a few and it sucks man..nothing but coasters..
