The PSP has some great shmup collections, and if you include all the PS1 shmups, it's a great platform for the STG genre. Especially as the console is entirely region-free

Although the 360 is much stronger when it comes to new and unique shooters (however, many aren't region-free);

Wait a sec, everyone keeps listing X360 shmups, but what about PSP shmups? I've had a PSP since the thing launched, and I dont know of any shmups that are not PS1 games or emulated.
