It was probably unlucky of you to main Chun-Li. Other characters are almost the same in X-ism and A-ism.

If you need an even more authentic experience, you can even unlock classic mode, and you won't have guard bars and super meters at all.

sounds awesome. At any rate, on X-ism I made it like 4 or 5 fights in a row without losing once. So yeah, it's way better for me. Thanks again!

Haha, I don't understand when people get excited about old fighting games being put onto XBLA / PSN. You're only going to get one of two results:

A) Bad net-code making you realize you wasted your money.
B) Your ass kicked. Over and Over again.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Not if you are one of the ones that is doing the ass kicking.

I'm not super excited about SF3 getting on PSN, but I'll still get it anyway. I've never bought any iteration of SF3 new, which means only GameStop, Blockbuster and ebayuser85 are the only ones that know I love SF3 - not Capcom.

However, in Japan it was Street Fighter Zero ;)

These numbers are stupid anyway. Storyline-wise, SF4 happens before 3, so the numeration is moot.

Yup, SF4 takes place like 10 years or so after Alpha, yet Sakura is still in high school apparently and looks 15... huh?

SF4 kinda threw canon out the window really

Really? Where did you read that? I'm confused now because Alpha is supposed to happen in the year between SF and SFII, and I thought SFIII was only supposed to be 5 years after SFII.

Not that it really matters but it's cute when Japanese companies try to create continuity or extended timelines. I mean, they're just so BAD at it.
