I understand where the op is coming from since there is a prevalence of topics where little is actually discussed or in some way is a rehash.
I suggest we start posting some more game specific threads rather than broader topics. Together Retro is an example of what I am talking about. That is where the meat is at. People are enthusiastic and share their experiences at a more personal level.

I guess we just all end up talking about the same things. Nobody can talk about music on this forum as i have found out lulz. The attitude of some of the older members on the community can make it more intimidating to pull a topic out of nowhere. It probably seems easier to chip in on what the older members say.
