We didn't get Cosmic Smash in Europe. That was Japan only.

That came to the US. (not sure about PAL)
The PAL version is the best since it has all the bad translations I've come to know and love from Treasure.
IIRC, the US translation was quite odd as well.

Yeah, I never understood where that confusion came from. Maybe people were confusing it for REZ? Did someone put out fake PAL box art that spread about?

I've seen pal box art for the game on flickr. I had never heard of any confusion and I thought it was understood it was a jap only release with a dvd case but I guess with the graphics being similar to rez someone just messed up some info somewhere. Racketboy, The pal version of Bangai-O is undoubtedly better translation wise. I've played both and while the ntsc one is still wacky the pal one says things that just don't make any sense and in 3 languages.

Alright, so Cosmic Smash was only released in Japan? From the videos I've seen the game seems to be in English (Text, voice), is there an option to change the language, or is it just supposed to be in English?

Are there any games I'm missing or do I have some on my list that don't fit the criteria?

Alright, so I've amended my list. I feel it's pretty complete in terms of imports that are actually worth owning, unless anyone else has more suggestions.
