Import Dreamcast games worth having?

Post by Caboose »

I was wondering which import Dreamcast games do you guys think are worth having? I'm building a collection, and I want that collection to include import games that are either fun even though you don't know Japanese, or are just collectible. Here is my list (games with brackets around them are ones I already own):

Japan:
Border Down
(Segagaga Sega Direct LE)
Chaos Field
Ikaruga
Baldr Force EXE
Space Channel 5 pt. 2
King Of Fighters series: KOF 2000, KOF 2001, KOF 2002
(Puyo Puyo Fever)
Trizeal
(Yu Suzuki's Game Works)
Sonic Adventure 2 Anniversary Edition
Napple Tale
Guilty Gear X
Psyvariar 2: The Will To Fabricate
Rainbow Cotton
Zero Gunner 2
Under Defeat
Trigger Heart Exelica
Samba De Amigo Ver. 2000
What's Shenmue
(Capcom vs. SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting)
Cosmic Smash
Lack of Love (LOL)
Complete El Dorado Gate Set

PAL only:
Bangai-O (strange translation)
Rez
(Shenmue II)
(Headhunter)

Are there any games I'm missing? Anything on there that shouldn't really be? I've read racketboy's article on this topic and you will see that a lot of games are on there solely based on his recommendation.

Thanks in advance for the advice,

-Caboose

I was going to put those on but I don't really know much about them. Oh yeah, maybe it would be cool to have the El Dorado Gate series as well, as long as it's complete.

The PAL version is the best since it has all the bad translations I've come to know and love from Treasure.
