I wouldn't say best. The beautiful pre-set colors show up on GBC, GBA and GBPlayer as well.optmusprimenumber wrote:so would you say that Metroid 2 in the Super Gameboy is the best way to play it unemulated?

Re: A few Game Boy questions
A quick question here, mainly aimed at Noiseredux but as long as someone answers, I picked up a GB 4-player adapter. Do many games use it? I assume there's some form of GB Bomberman that does.

Re: A few Game Boy questions
I've got another Super Game Boy question:
Suppose I want to play a game with one of the special boarders. Let's just say an American copy Dragon Warrior Monsters. I turn it on and I can select the boarder. All is well.
Now let's say I want to play a Japanese (or European) copy of Dragon Warrior Monsters but I still want to have the boarder around it. If the games are region-free would I still be able to have the boarder around the screen?

if the border is in the Japanese version, then yes. (I don't know if I understand the question?)Opa Opa wrote:I've got another Super Game Boy question:

Yeah, the question is a tad confusing. How about this:noiseredux wrote:if the border is in the Japanese version, then yes. (I don't know if I understand the question?)
If the boarders are present within the game in other regions, will they work on an American Super Game Boy?

yes. As far as I understand (though I've never tried myself, as I didn't have any imports back then).Opa Opa wrote:Yeah, the question is a tad confusing. How about this:noiseredux wrote:if the border is in the Japanese version, then yes. (I don't know if I understand the question?)
