Nearly a year ago I have painted my NES. Some guys on the forum requested I should do a tutorial on how to paint a game console.

A few days ago a guy sold me an ice blue N64 with all hookups for only 10€. The bad thing is that the case is in very bad condition.

The first thing Im going to repair is the cover. I will scratch build the missing part of the cover out of plastic stiren.
The broken case will be easy to repair. I will glue it together and when the glue is dry I will use some body filler to completely fix the area.
I know that most of you guys will not aggre with my color choice.
I will paint the console with auto air`s "porn star pink". Im still thinking about spraying a thin (transparent) coat of ghost blue pearl over the pink to give it more of the flip flop or chameleon effect.

I started block sanding the case with 220 grit sand paper and then moved to 500 and 800 grit sand paper.

The case after block snading with 220 grit. I have filled the holes with cianokol and then sandet away the remaining filler/cianokol to get a perfect surface.

I have removed the plastic behind the N64 logo and replaced it with some polystyrol. I have glued aluminium foil onto the polystyrol so the light can spread out and evenly light up the logo.

This is not finished. I still have to play with it to get it perfect.
